Whew! Both Macs upgraded to 10.6.4

Well, I decided on Friday to update both my Mac Pro and my MacBook Pro to OS X 10.6.4.

For some reason I was a tad more paranoid about this update then I normally am. So I decided to make total system drive image backups (using Carbon Copy Cloner) before I installed the actual update. Also, this time I did not use Software Update, but rather downloaded and ran the 10.6.4 Combo Update.

Well, both machines now have a 10.6.3 clone on an independent drive and they are now running 10.6.4.

This took me a lot more elapsed hours then I had thought it would. Oh well, better safe then sorry.

Green Living Tips

Change to fluorescent bulbs
If every house in the United States changed all of the light bulbs in their house, that would be equivalent to taking one million cars off the streets.
